From the recording Dim the Watershed
Take all you want from me. Too simple to believe. I’m too stupid not to leave I believe.
He said just be yourself, as if I could be somebody else. If I could only find a little piece, it would be so easy.
Tell me now what I can do. Less like me and closer to you. Closer to you.
Silent moments in between. Thoughts of these never seen. Like spaces between trees, lies this mortal body. Made of flesh so very weak. Should I fall to my knees. Pick me up I beg you please. Could it be so easy?
For all you will deny. For all I’ll keep inside. What did we leave behind? Could it be so easy?
